My Grandma's Place

The photos you are viewing are from my grandma’s village - Rakelovci (Village of Bulgaria), which is described in my book under the chapter Early Childhood. The people you see are relatives - my niece and her mother, who prepared for us from scratch a delicious banitsa, the one that my grandma used to make. The place has changed - the old house of my great grandfather and the old barn are gone, but the well still exists and the water from it is very clear. Returning to the village this summer and spending time with relatives filled me with sweet memories of the past and new experiences to take with me.
